News Up-Dates

February 6, 2012:   Unfortunately, former MICHIGAN Quarterback Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots, lost The Super Bowl;-(   ..."Boo-Hoo"

February 7, 2012: Meet "Blondie", our new Pomeranian puppy. She is 11 weeks old and weighs less than 2 pounds. And, although she is half the size of our cat "Daisy Duke", she enjoys chasing Daisy all around the house. Isn't she cute:-)
DISCLAIMER: This IS NOT our Vette or Garage. Barb and John had their first date cruising Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, Michigan over 50 years ago. And, over the years living in the Detroit Area, they purchased 4 slightly used Vette's from GM employees....... 2012: John is working on selling their 1937 Ford, and hopes to replace it with another slightly used Corvette because there is NO KNOWN CURE for "Corvette Fever" And, Barb loves this idea!
Here's our 1937 Ford Street Rod after friend Leon Coder painted it; and, it looks "FANTASTIC"!!! NOTE: look closely at the rear door and you'll see the reflection of John's Harley. Now that's a "Mirror Finish". And, unfortunately, the garage floor does looks like shit.
Although it appears John is sleeping, he is actually praying that his "beloved" MICHIGAN Wolverines and/or DENVER Bronco's win their next football game (with his highly trained "attack cat" Daisy Duke). Photo by Barb.
Here is John's beautiful wife Barb holding Carmen's cat "Mini". Fortunately, Barb has shared John's love of motorcycles and hot rods for over 50 years; and, to celebrate this milestone, John had "BARB" tattoed on his arm. ISN'T LOVE GRAND!!!!!
August, 2010: This is our oldest daughter Julie, taken at her home in Tennessee. Unfortunately, our Daughter Carmen, who lives in North Carolina, managed to avoid the camera; but, I'll keep trying.
August, 2010: Here is Barb enjoying our Grandchildren Matthew and Samantha.
Barb and John have riden throughout the Western United States & Canada. And, John actually RODE to Bike Week in Sturgis, South Dakota, 23 times. Unfortunately, few bikers actually ride to Sturgis anymore; and, soon it will be called "TRAILER WEEK".............2011: Barb and John try to ride every weekend, and John rides almost daily in the summer.
HELLO... I designed this motorcycle in my head, and it took me a full year to actually build it (I never said I was fast) to look like an old-school "Rigid Chopper", when in fact, it has a Rubber-Mounted H-D Powertrain and a New Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam Motor. I entered this awsome bike in 3 Motorcycle Shows, and won First Place in all 3 shows. And, it was also awarded the highly coveted "People's Choice Award" in the 2 shows that allowed the public to vote for their favorite motorcycle. This picture was taken by my friend Michael Lichter of EasyRider fame, and he is the "Best" photographer on the Planet, for a 4-Page Feature Article in the February, 2003 issue of V-Twin Magazine. And, it was also featured in Street Chopper Magazine. Unfortunately, I sold this fine ride to finance my 1937 Ford Hot Rod.
John accquired the nickname "DR. EVO" (see gas tank) when his biker friends discovered he earned his Ph.D. in a previous life. Here, John is doing a "burn-out" on his 103 cubic inch Evo-Powered Drag Bike, while his "great friend", and Master Harley Mechanic Len Havens (red t-shirt) watches at the Sturgis Dragway during Bike Week. This motorcycle was "extremely fast", and won virtually every formal event (and "illegal" street-race). Bill Johnson, another "great friend", and owner of High Country Harley-Davidson in Longmont, Colorado was the team's major sponsor.
July, 2010: Our "Dear Friends" Bob & Mary Doyle stopped in Colorado for a visit on their way home to Washington State. Bob was John's mentor early in his career, and John refers to Bob as his "Guru". Bob has written several "extremely popular" management books which were published by The American Management Association. Bob & Mary are standing on our deck overlooking the Rocky Mountains at sunset.
Barb recently made this baby quilt for our family friend Stacey Johnson Lepro who just had a baby girl. And, I'm extremely proud of the various projects Barb creates in her sewing room.

These 3 "Clowns" are good examples of why I have NEVER joined a political party;  and, . . . NEVER WILL !
(Unfortunately, Vice President Joe "The Fool" Biden missed this photo shoot because Barack "The Liar" Obama locked him up in the White House basement so he would not make Obama look any more foolish and/or unqualified than he already is)
